Project Cast Malo
Our team launched a new fascinating project... A new innovative mode of transport combining wind, electric engines and foil technologies.
Premise:
The ocean, the coast line is an unexploited, investment free, maintenance free, free-way. Sailboats are the best mean for transport entirely ecological. Sailboats technologies have improved greatly since the fast "Fox" boat of Surcouf (above). Sailboats can achieve speeds of 67 knots (124 km/h). To sail, especially at that speed, one needs specifically designed boats and sails, protection equipment, knowledge and training. Sailboats are wonderful ecological transportation devices, but not so great reliable commuting tools. They need wind, and rarely can follow a straight line, point to point. What if we could go directly and at a guaranteed safe speed, in a dry, equipment free manner, without expert sailing knowledge?
That is our premise.

Our goal is to move persons quickly, efficiently, effortlessly, comfortably, and entirely ecologically along coastline. Our principle is to adopt the best existing technologies, and to combine them toward our transport vehicle
Team
Our team of engineers, sailors, maritime, electronic, transport and business experts, is looking at combining all available technologies to build the vehicle of the future.
