Business Development
Business Development is an integral part of what we do at Pharlight. We are most interested in working on innovative projects that foster sustainability. Pragmatism and integrity are incorporated in all of our developmental strategies. We will ensure that our projects will support a healthy environment as well as respect the cultural standards of our clients.
Family Planning Innovations
Pharlight International is proposing 3 innovative solutions to optimize the efficacy of Family planning endeavors.
The biggest challenge for developing countries in Africa is the population growth. It plagues the improvement of health, with the investments and budgets always below the growth of population. It plagues the security of each with overpopulation bringing tension between nations, tribes, neighbors. It brings economics stagnation with infrastructure investments far behind the current needs and the required growth, and resulting systemic unemployment. Pharlight made a proposal, available to all countries to very easily, very quickly, very efficiently, and very cheaply reach the populations with the products, and information they need. A solution for the distribution of condoms - a solution for contraceptives - a solution to reach the most remote health centers regularly. All of these are easily and rapidly implementable. An example is available in the Blog presentation. |
E-Health Information
Developed Nations
We are developing patient and medicine monitoring systems that will revolutionize the way we treat and manage patients. Advanced nations spend up to 12% of GNP for health care and management. The implementation of these systems could lead to billion dollar savings. In addition, medicine is evolving from large market treatments to increasingly individualized solutions. Recent advances in communication technology can eliminate the current difficulties doctors and patients face when prescribing and taking medication. Our solutions will combine improved treatments, and better follow-up with the necessary substantial savings for the payers. |
Developing Nations
Due to our current work and interest in developing nations, we are motivated to design monitoring and logistics information systems which can improve the quality of care. What was not possible a few years ago is easily and economically doable today. Mobile technology implementation is prevalent in all developing countries. Using the knowledge of needs and the understanding of the feasibilities, we can prove that access to medicine, can reduce obsolescence and shortages. Our goal is to ensure that we not only improve the current monitoring systems in place, but also provide a framework for future growth. |
Regional Ecological Vacation Center
We have initiated our Regional Ecological Cultural Vacation Centers. These centers will first give travelers the experience of living in a local community of a specific region, while learning about the traditions and history of that culture. In keeping with the trend of eco-tourism guests will experience, ecological living and on-site environmentally friendly technologies. This unique project will be the first of its kind, providing additional benefits for study and comparison of renewable energy solutions.
Visitors will be able to:
The centers will become testing sites for new ecological devices.
Visitors will be able to:
- Live in traditional, typical, regional quarters and settings
- Eat traditionally prepared and locally grown food
- Stay safe by using only ecological products
- Learn local history
- Have the opportunity to measure energy output during the trip
The centers will become testing sites for new ecological devices.
Innovative access to medicine for Remote areas
We are investigating new solutions for distribution of medicine to remote areas that are difficult to reach given the terrain, seasons, weather, and road access. These areas should be given the same health care as non-remote areas, which can in turn promote equality, and insure adequate care. Implementing such solutions can create unique alternatives which must also be sustainable, doable, and affordable for the local community. Our goal is to discover unique alternatives in transport and delivery to remote areas, while respecting the culture and lifestyle of these communities. We believe technology lies at the heart of future transportation and will exponentially increase efficiency in emergency health care. |
Ultra Light Planes
With the use of Ultra Light aircrafts we can reach health facilities and warehouses that are normally inaccessible to cars and trucks. Currently, between 5% and 10% of health centers are hard to reach by road. Using ultra light aircrafts we can reduce access inequality and supply health centers with much needed medical supplies. These aircrafts are ready for implementation and can:
